WIP® Claim Reporting
We are pleased to announce our renewed partnership with Broadspire – a Crawford Company, the premier third party claims administration company. Effective 9/1/08 all WIP® claims on XL Insurance Companies policies (Property, GL, Auto, & Umbrella) should be reported to Broadspire. The same phone number is being used:

All claims regardless of severity or location should be reported to the Broadspire Claims Intake Center, which is ready to accept new claim notices submitted in any of the following four ways:

The Intake Center will review all claim notices and assign to a Broadspire branch office for handling. It will then send an acknowledgement to the designated contact person with the Broadspire claim number and the name of the adjuster assigned to the claim.
Claim notices should include the following information:
- Policy number
- Name of insured
- Date of loss
- Type of loss
- Location of loss
- Designated contact person with contact information
- Important: Notices that do not require action (“incident reports”) should be indicated “REPORT ONLY””
